The Festival on the Neuse is one on Eastern North Carolinas fastest growing and most anticipated events of the spring. Our Festival spot lights the things that we are known for from far and wide! Namely, GREAT Bar-B-Que, good golf, lots of food, good music and LOADS of fun!!!

The Festival is traditionally a three day event, kicking-off with a golf tournament on Thursday, a Bar-B-Que cooking contest and a street dance on Friday evening, and a wing-ding of a Festival all day Saturday, complete with arts and crafts, gift and food vendors galore, mechanical rides, petting zoo and a car show!! This past year alone there were over 140 cars registered for our show and everything to eat from scrumptious home made ice-cream and funnel cakes, to some of Eastern North Carolina’s famous mouth watering Bar-B-Que!

There is lots to do, race a rubber duck in the Great Neuse River Duck Race, pet a baby lamb, ride a mechanical bull and be a spectator in the showmanship portion of our pig cooking contest! These pigs are “dressed” for “success “!!! Come and enjoy this free, fun filled week-end on the banks of the scenic Neuse River in Neuseway Park in beautiful downtown Kinston!
