Community Classroom Visitation Program
How can you help? We
would like for you to visit a classroom. We would like to tap
into your many years of expertise and experience. You would be a
valuable resource for our teachers, and a source of inspiration for
our students. Our students would benefit greatly from your
experience and your words of wisdom. Perhaps you would like to
extend an invitation to the teachers to visit your place of business
and fund any expenses that might be incurred.
We are
in the process of developing a Classroom Visitation Resource
Guide that will include the list of businesses that agree to
participate in this new program. This guide will be made available
to all Lenoir County teachers at the beginning of the 2007-2008
school year
If you would like to be a partner in this new
endeavor, please complete and return the Community Classroom
Visitation Program Questionnaire.
Please feel free to contact Lidia Guzman
(527-1109 x222) at Lenoir County Public Schools or Laura Lee
Sylvester (527-1131) at the Chamber of Commerce if you have any
questions. We will be sending this correspondence to many community
agencies and businesses. However, please contact us if you know of a
company that you think would like to participate.
If you wish to participate in the classroom
visitation program and be included in our 2007-2008 Community
Resource Guide, please reply by June 30, 2007.
Sincerely,
Lidia R. Guzman
